LG is preparing to launch the F9100 for Cingular, US GSM carrier. The F9100 features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a design seen recently on handsets such as the Motorola A630 and the Siemens SX66. However, the F9100 keyboard appears to slide-out from the side of the phone, requiring the unit to be turned sideways to type and the display would need to rotate electronically to landscape mode when the keyboard is used.
