The 3GSM World Congress 2006 was not soo exciting. What about this year - it is quite predictable.
We will see more:
- 3G, WiFi, HSDPA connectivity supporting handsets
- high end TV phones
- camera phones with extended features such as resolution (up to 5 megapixel) and storage
- new game phones with high-end 3D graphics
- full touchscreen phones
We probably will not see any new form factor for mobile phones, except a situation when some of concept phones will become reality.
Design continues to be one of the most important part of a driving force with all mobiles, so expect to see more slim and compact handsets.
The 3GSM World Congress 2007 scheduled for February 12-15, 2007, in Barcelona.

LG KE850 is one of the product that won iF Product Design Award 2007. The phone has not been unnounced yet, so I can only guess what is inside of this beauty, but there are few pictures of it. As we can see the KE850 is model completely based on a touchscreen interface, with three good old buttons: send, end and confirm. Hopefully, we will see it on 3GSM Congress 2007.
