Kids and Chocolate Mobile Phones
LG Chocolate lineup seems to be so successful that it inevitably produced come copy-cats this time in a rather creative way a Japanese operator Willcom has introduced a phone named NICO targeted at kids ages 7 to 12, with M&M buttons in Smartie colors. Despite having a W-SIM technology inside the feature set of the phone is pretty retarded. Almost all the extra multimedia functions had been removed and only essentials like making calls and receiving calls are left. It’s as if kids are not smart enough to fall for a pack of candies instead of a real mobile.
- Size: 45 x 125 x 14.3mm
- Weight: 67 grams
- Display: 64k colors
- Up to 270 hours talk time
- Up to 410 hours standby time
The phone is available in Blue (B), Green (G), Yellow (Y), Pink (P) and surprise-surprise Chocolate (C) versions.
Not only the device is absolutely disfunctional compare to other modern phones, the whole idea of hooking-up kids on candies looks pretty revolting. Parents might save on the cost of phone but finally they’ll be forced to spend more on visits to a dantist.
