Motorola SLVR Red raises funds to fight AIDSProduct Red, the brainchild of U2 frontman Bono, unveiled a red version of Motorola SLVR handset. Buy the phone and £5 goes to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in the developing countries. The project is supported by Carphone Warehouse. Bono created the Product Red (joinred.com) partnership with Bobby Shriver, a member of the Kennedy family and chairman of Debt, Aids, Trade Africa or DATA. The idea is to harness the power of global brands to raise funds to fight disease.
